La Violette Società 54
About
There's a moment captured in every great photograph where the past and present blur. The artwork for our latest La Violette Società bears witness to this—young faces locked in concentration, bodies leaning in, the universal language of music cutting through time. It could be 1965 or 2025. That's exactly the point.
This March, we're bringing together four acts that understand this timeless dialogue. Bite, where classic psych-rock collides with funk's raw pulse and soul's deep heart. Pys Melyn, Violette faves carrying Welsh psychedelia into brilliantly uncharted waters. Yesterday's Flowers, fresh from their EP launch, bringing Folkestone's answer to cosmic rock having already caught BBC 6 Music's ear. And Melanie Banim, whose words excavate the untold stories of Liverpool's streets and Ireland's diaspora, giving voice to those who've been silenced—a London Library Emerging Writer whose poetry stitches together class, place and the things families leave unsaid.
One night. Four voices. No phones. No distractions. Just you, them and whatever happens in between.
Some nights matter more than others. This is one of them.
Limited capacity. When it's gone, it's gone.
