Two decades after their split, transatlantic, millennium-era four-piece, Departure Lounge return with their brand new fourth album, Transmeridian.
It features all four original members plus a guest appearance from legendary R.E.M. guitarist, Peter Buck, one of many long-standing admirers of a band that might be said to embody a lost age of reflective and experimental pop music.
The album, named after the defunct ‘golden age of aviation’ cargo airline for which singer/guitarist Tim Keegan’s dad was chief pilot, was released on Violette Records on digital and vinyl formats in March 2021.
Tim Keegan – Lead Vocals, Guitar
Chris Anderson – Keyboards, Guitar, Saxophone, Vocals
Lindsay Jamieson – Drums, Keyboards, Flute, Vocals
Jake Kyle – Bass Guitar, Guitar, Trumpet, Vocals
